Can I recommend Walking With Giants Foundation?

http://www.walkingwithgiants.org/en/

It’s a charity supporting people and families affected by primordial dwarfism (where adults may only reach 2-3ft tall). They do fantastic work to help with accessibility, genetic diagnosis and (most importantly) a sense of belonging/community. Give me a shout if you want more info :D

here's my suggestions.

Scarf - a scottish wide charity to eradicate fuel poverty
The Homeless period - a charity to aims to ensure menstrual products are available in shelters across the UK
Scottish trans alliance - a scottish charity that aims to improve the lives of all transgender people in scotland
STAMP - a youth project from Scotland that aims to stamp out media patriarchy
Greyhound awareness league - a scottish charity that helps to rehome ex racing greyhounds

Animal Rescue Crew

https://www.animalrescuecrew.org

Does great work taking dogs and cats off the streets and out of kill shelters in Romania and finds homes for them - my family dog came from here, she is amazing!

Not local though so maybe not appropriate.

Going to suggest one of our work clients because they're fairly new and do really fun stuff (and I am professionally responsible for getting them all the cash so there's that)!

I nominate the Super Power Agency, who aim to give young people the "super powers" of literacy, creativity, self-esteem and employability skills through creative writing and interdisciplinary art projects in disadvantaged areas of Edinburgh. They're currently working with 12-17 year olds at Leith Academy and the focus is on Leith at the moment but with funding they're hoping to expand to other areas. They've got lots of exciting pilot projects on the go at the moment and are just generally top folks. :D http://superpoweragency.com/

I work for the fundraising consultancy they use so I do all their grant applications, trust approaches, Leith Chooses paperwork etc.! But that is hush hush because many funders don't like consultants

I know foodbanks aren't the cool charity any more but they are being used now more than ever. Edinburgh NW & Central Foodbank (Trussel Trust) do a really good job. We could ask people to bring in a non-perishable food or toiletry item for money off their ticket? And invite the volunteers to the game?

I love this idea but with my finance hat on could we say you can get a raffle ticket or something by donating an item? We need those £££s from the door :gmhappy:

Would love it if we just had this as a regular game day thing!
