It was no problem at all. I enjoyed helping and passing on what knowledge I've gained since January. Just remember not to splay your legs so far doing double knee falls like I do  A bad habit which needs to be broken. You're more than welcome to come again if you're free on a Fri. Wifey (Irn Lu) and I are going to make some of it a bit more structured and focused on working on derby skills from now on.

I SO need the extra practice... Is it ok for me to come along to one of these practices and just practice getting more comfortable on my skates rather than doing any particular training thing? I kinda feel like I need hours worth of practice just to be able to skate around without feeling like I'm about to face plant, before trying to learn more sophisticated stops... Charlotte xx

Awesome I'm not far from there so I can cycle
I've got exams 'til 18th of May so I've just put myself on for the 20th onward.
If the June bookings are too busy (because they're already close to the limit) just send a message closer to the time whether or not to show =)

Hey Nat - that's cool, shame you can't make it tonight  Hopefully see you back at CYC next time. Also Pummel-a will be great to see you along there tonight if you can still make it - It's always good to see new faces and spread the derby love Brutal xx Just a wee reminder to all our new (and potentially new CYC-ers) that as this isn't an official ARRG practice we don't have a first aider or first aid kit at the centre so remember - skate safe!
