Hallo campers,
October is nearly here and that means it is almost time to be 'shooting' some film. Lets put it in the can as Blaze might say. That's a wrap. CUT. etc.
Before lights, camera, action, there is one *final* planning stage that anyone can come to, this will be
TUESDAY 4TH OCTOBER 7-9PM @ CHRYSTAL MACMILLAN BUILDING. In that session we will storyboard all-together, on a big flipchart, the 'linking' sections of the film, the parts that provide the continuity between all the different segments. Then we are ready to roll!
SO, if you want to see you name in lights or be 'First Boy' here's what to do:
1. Sign up to a group.... *By Saturday 1st October*Email me and tell me, which awesome *production team* do you want to be on? The options are listed just here. There are seven planned segments to the film and so seven production teams. You can sign up to more than one but it might be a horrendous amount of work. Each team probably needs three members for filming to go ahead. If not enough people sign up we probably wont be able to make that segment of the film. Bummer.
Each team will be responsible for working with the storyboards already designed for their segment and organising themselves to film footage according to that plan. Don't worry if it sounds daunting! I'll be around to 'help' say possibly comforting/inappropriate things. If you have any questions just let me know!
GROUPS LIST:
1. Rocky Montage of Training
2. ARRG's Journey from the Past to the Future
3. Away Bout Road Trip
4. The Hard Work of Running ARRG
5. Skaters' Points of View (interviews/Monologues over training footage with creative interpretations)
6. Audience Interviews and Footage
7. All the Aspects of Putting on a Home Bout
2. Fill in this doodle poll for when you are available to come to a EQUIPMENT FUN DAYAt EQUIPMENT FUN DAYS we can all get to know the camera and microphone and practice filming things, so that when it comes to the 'take one.... ACTION' time we will be slick pros.
http://www.doodle.com/dfvbxrixhstnb42v3. Let me know if you have your own equipment or can borrow some from Andy Clockwise....This will make filming easier and even more exciting. Especially if you have a clapper board or directors chair!
Once everyone is signed up to a group then we can sort out groups getting together and filming.
If you have any questions or suggestions please just email.
there have been so many amazing and inspirational ideas so far, thanks so much to everyone's hard work!
