This is very last-minute, but we've got a lot of creative people around here and I thought someone might be interested. I've got a full scholarship to a creative writing workshop in Spain from 6 to 11 October, thanks to Shortbreadstories.com, and I've just been told that a couple of people have dropped out due to visa issues. So they have 2-3 spaces open, and they're willing to give full scholarships to anyone who's interested! You'd just have to pay for airfare (cost me about £130 on RyanAir). The course, lodging, food and drink are all paid for. It'll only be like 6-8 of us total, and the course focusses on helping writers regain a bit of confidence in their ability. There aren't any entrance requirements outside of being up for it, so if you're interested for sure I think there are still spaces! That second link I posted is the workshop leader detailing the (loose) structure, if you want to see what you'd be in for.
