what size is the file? how many pixels? are you getting any error messages?

I tried with two different images, one is 143 x 143 pixels (7.72Kb) and the other is 146 x 146 pixels (4.83 Kb). I get the same message of error with both:
"Could not upload avatar to ./images/avatars/upload/ceec105127a53fbcfabafb480f30162f_402.jpg."

Mine did that too for a while, and I just kept swapping pics I liked till I found one that worked, sorry I can't be more helpful than that

it's not letting me have david bowie as my avatar I'M NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS.
i'm getting that same error message.

Jazz, can you host it somewhere online (photobucket etc...)? I had a problem on a forum before where it stopped letting you upload directly to the site for weird reasons. I can remember, but I think it can accept a link to an external site. If you're stuck, let me know though...(not stepping on Bob's toes  )

Do you know what size the picture is? (width, height, pixels)
