Had my first shot today at The Jack Kane and it was fab! Juicy Lucy was very patient "bend your knees!"  I lost the cirulation in my left foot (for a while - it's back now), fell on my arse plenty and had a great time! The retro boots just have to go, so I'm on the lookout for 2nd hand gear. I've responded to one add already. Thanks so much everyone and looking forward to the next time. x

I had an awesome time yesterday afternoon too (thanks for the support Crazylegs :] )
Going to try and buy some skates, might be a few weeks though... should I come along to practices and watch anyways?
I'm def coming to the bout on Feb the 14th, can't wait!

if you want to come along on fridays that would be amazing!!! that's when we scrimmage so it really lets you know the game as the rules can take a while to get your head around you guys all looked totally awesome!!!!

Hey - I think it's cool if you come along Sundays all the time now, if there are spare skates then you can grab them - it all depends on who's feeling generous and whether the spare kit ones have been snapped up I think!!
And yep - if you could make it on Fri Meadowbank Hall 3 from 7pm, you'll see us scrimmage and maybe even get to help out (lucky!)...

Yesterday was fantastic and made my weekend as i miss skating so much, just watching the new girls eager faces made me remember why i love it so much. You all rocked and i can't wait til i can skate with you all . xAx

Nice one! I'll come along on Sunday again and I am walking distance from Meadowbank so that will be great to see you scrimmage! I'm gonna see if I can got into Cockburn Street before then for pads. The Anarchy ones I borrowed were really comfortable and I can stick with my retro boots until something turns up
