Hey Roller Guys and Dolls
I'm pretty new to the Roller scene but have been skating on and off for years. I'm a huge fan of Roller Derby and you ARRG's are awesome, I'd Love to get involved.

I'm down for the Goodwood Roller Marathon in August and was wondering if anyone around Edinburgh is? If so, up for some training? I've just invested in Quads after years of inline skates and am finding it tough to adjust. So would be nice to share a giggle when I take a tumble.

Some folk are going to Goodwood,. don't know if I'll be going as yet, there's often someone doing a bit of outdoor at Crammond or Portabello, I know they'd be happy for you to tag along, keep your eyes to the forum

what Frank said...... I know theres quite a few of us all potentially going down to Goodwood and will most likely be camping too

as the weather gets better and days are longer, there will be a lot of outdoor skating happening, we usually pop a thread up here to let people know when theres gonna be people there.

Ive been going to Cramond at least 1 day a week during the day, its an excellent place to get a good long stretch of endurance skating in... some bits of the track are pretty bumpy tho and some of it is also uphill.. not a bad thing... works the old muscles a bit more

Ill let know know next time theres a group of us going out and you are welcome to join us

Have been doing the Granton to Crammond run every week for the last few months. Its great apart from the wind, though good endurance training.
I haven't really thought about the whole logistics of August but a friend just opened a pub not far from Goodwood so will be looking him up nearer the time. So might be a possible celebratory watering hole!
