Hi Everyone,
I was a newbie last weekend (Becky, the girl with the lace tights and an appetite for nachos)- super excited about sun, but due to an ordering mixup I won't have skates till the sun after. Does anyone know of/have gear I can borrow (size six or seven)? If the answer is no, I'll still come along and try to learn something. But really, I do just want to get my skates on!

PS. Everglides do a discount right? How do I get this?

It's great that you're so enthusiastic to get skating :gbanana:

John at Everglides is usually very good/quick with orders~very sorry to hear about your skates mixup resulting in you having to wait a little longer~if you tell him that you've joined Auld Reekie Roller Girls he will award you discount.

In the meantime, there are a few pairs of skates in the spare kit held in the Jack Kane Centre, I'm afraid I don't know what the sizes are(if you email Switchblade Jade she might be able to tell you)~all spare kit is on a first come basis so if you wanted to give it a try get there nice & early tomorrow.
I wont be around tomorrow but if you ask one of the coaches they will direct you to where to find the spare kit.

yeah there are some spares in the kit bag that would fit you becky, just get there early to make sure you claim them first

Hi!

Just got off a 10 hour shift- knackered but still looking forward to tomorrow! I've decided to opt for the kickflip boards starter pack so I can get it all at once and upgrade pads later- so I'll have everything come the following sun
