Hello my beautiful roller girls! OK, Et Tu Brutal and myself (Bulletproof Glass) are taking over the booking of the wonderful CYC in Corstorphine! As many of the original folk who used it have moved on to the WED and FRI practices it will mean new faces attending, so we thought we'd explain the venue and the details!

This is a quite small venue that can only really accomodate about 8-10 people, it has a wooden floor that can be a little slippy, and a stage if the mood should strike you 
The times are 7.45- 9.45pm (previously was 7.45-9.30pm)
We will be booked for every other Friday, so that the Friday bout nights can be attended.
The price is £30 for the 2 hours... if 8 people show up it will cost you £3.75... if only 4 people show up it'll cost you £7.50... We have to pay no matter what so it's really important to pay up at the time! Brutal will be handling the finances and I'll be sorting the bookings.
If there is very limited folk showing interest on a certain night then we may opt to cancel to avoid getting stuck with the bill!
Ok... I'm going to attach a doodle poll (because they are my new fav things) to let folk know the dates that are booked as of now... can you please show your interest and availibility??

PS this is not really a first come first serve because some girls have been going for a while so they have first dibs, I will try and make it as fair as possible, but some weeks there may just be too many folk

Just a wee note to say that the dates I've put no down at the moment are the eves of public bouts as I *usually* help Connie with icing/tasting to make sure things are okay ( if I'm required). The date in April may change though to yes!

Very proud of the girls at CYC tonight!!! Brutal, you jumped like a super star!!!! Sooooo proud! Josee, damn girl you can jump very high---very jealous! Lu your lateral skating was improving so much with just one session, next time we'll practice crossovers! Heidi, you were doing really awesome on your toe stopper walking and your lateral skating (even when we moved them closer!) and Kirds super proud that your plough stop is getting much better, keep telling that RIGHT leg to behave and go where YOU want it to!
Well done everyone!!! Can't wait til the next one!!

Yes, thanks so much for organising all of that. So glad to know what exactly was making me feel like a plow stop was impossible. I'm going to seriously work on teaching my right leg to do what it should be doing. Thanks Bullet Everyone was awesome last night and I look forward to the next time I'm there to take part in the awesomeness again!

Right...thee next one of these is the 1st of April...I know that only three are down just now (and that Bullet has also posted on the cyc group on facebook about the poss of cancelling it if not much interest ).. ...but i really need to go to this! Since it is the minimums on the 3rd and 10th of April...and im missing this sunday due to my charitable-ness (doing that adrenaline drop) I don't actually have any other day to practice before them and im crapping myself! So any other interest would be great! Lu xXx

Hey Bullet & Brutal, Is this CYC practice open to newbies? I started in January, but I'm keen to get extra practice in other than just attending the Sunday practices at Jack Kane. Cheers! Kirstie
