Now I'm rather upset I chose robots instead of recreational engineering. I could have tried my hand at designing a roller skate as my project instead of jumping robot things. Mebbe next year I'll design a motorised speed skate just for fun...

Fee, I kinda don't want to be swapping things for important practices just cause passing is my main priority in life right now lol. But how about for the practice on the 4th that we're doing? I hope I don't sound like a knob!

I learned this the hard way when I started mountain biking. My bike got stolen and I replaced it with a somewhat nicer one. "Aha" thought I, as I set off with a bunch of shit-hot, lycra-clad blokes, "Now I have a nice bike, I will miraculously be gifted with amazing 1337 cycling skillz". But alas, no. I was still a shite cyclist, with the added embarrassment of having a flash bike. (doesn't stop me blaming too-big skates for my lack of skill, though ).
