Hello my lovlies...
Ok so wheels! Ha ha I know, the subject never ends!
I bought poisons ages ago, I love the grippy but I struggle to do agility such as transitions on them... so I swapped two on each skate for the super slidey 97's wheels that came with my skates (um, Suregrip Twisters I think??)... I now have the agility I was so missing, but I find this combo too slidey!
So can anyone advise on a sort of in the middle wheel, like grippy but also slidey enough?? Any indeed if anyone can then can I possibly *try* such wheels?
Thanks for any and all advice! Bullet xxx
PS I have no children, derby is my one splurge in life... it's my one bad (good?!?) habit, I might as well spend money on wheels rather then fags or booze!

That would be super thanks so much Debris!! Will you be at SUndays practice? I will have to limit my skating to *just skating* no hitting/falling/contact but would LOVE to try them! x

Sadly I won't be at training until next wed I work quite near Depeche though so if I could get in touch with her and if she's going on Sunday that could work... I wouldn't have time to clean them first though.

Maybe try Quickie Stickies too? Me and Biffo have red yins, they're 93a so they've got lots of roll but they've got loads of flex in them for grip. You gotta wait til my new skates arrive before you can try them though and I think Biffo's on holiday. Hopefully next weekend though

Ah, sorry, Bullet/Debris, I just saw this.
Check the old, super-long wheels thread on here for some good information. When I was thinking about wheels, 3M said that it's best for there to not be too big a difference in stickiness. I tried G-rods and Trackers, which are 93 and 90 respectively and they were great. However chunks broke off the edges of the Trackers, so I'm a wee bit dubious of Atom wheels.

I was going to bring them in and then work stalk you but I forgot...

I've skated with sure grip fugitives for nearly 18 months now, I find they are perfectly balanced.
That said, just out of curiosity I'm buying other ones.
