The miracle cure Ezeefit Ankle booties are now available in the UK. I have these, and they are a freaking godsend. No blisters, no soreness - especially when breaking in new boots. They come in two thicknesses - the ultrathin are good for boots that fit properly, but rub in a few places. The 2mm ones are really good for making skates that are slightly too big fit better.

They actually do make whole foot booties too:

I haven't seen them for sale in the UK. But the site above does ship to the UK as well.

Do you think these would work for getting my skates to fit better?

I've got both the 1mm and 2mm ankle booties. You're welcome to try them.

Those look interesting, Daisy! I've heard of people folding up plastic bags and taping the bits to where the blisters form in order to create a double layer to reduce friction. This looks like it works on the same principle. I'd be interested to hear how these work!

I tied plastic bags to my feet once to keep them dry - it was a very snowy day & my boots broke so my friend lent me her trainers. Trainers & plastic bags - not a great look! Lol.

I'll let you know how the socks are if I buy them....I was hoping to find some black ones.
