I've just bought some Atom Trak Atak wheels which I was really loving until I discovered a massive chunk missing from the lip of one, after a mere FOUR skating sessions.

I'll be sending it back, but just wanted to post as a heads up for anyone considering these.

Good to know, thanks Depeche. I'm looking to get new wheels soon (just got offered a new job, yay!) so any pointers like this are good.

This is what happened with my jukes (and everyone else who bought them just about) I am trying the super G atoms ones atm that I got whilst on holiday. Hopefully they wont chunk and if they do theres either something wrong with the manufacturing of the atom wheels or its the surface we skate on. Kaos x

atoms love to chunk! it's what happens if air gets into the mixture and makes a batch of wheels faulty.

they are really good about replacing them for non-chunky ones, usually.

My replacement juke has chunked even worse than the originals did. Awesome wheels, but come on, Atom.

Does it make a massive difference? Mine have chunked too (jukes) but I can't say I notice anything different. But then I might just not be aware enough.
