Hi,

Is the Tuesday Fresh Meat practice still at Holyrood high school? How did you convince them to let you use the hall for skating? I can't make Tuesdays so got in touch with the school my job is based in, they said that they think the skates would damage the wooden floors.

Hey Shona!

Someone else might know a more 'specific to this session' answer, but we (as in ARRG) book holyrood occasionally too.

We have references from other halls we use to say we don't damage the floors. They were happy with that!

When this hall was first booked they offered to let us try it to see if it was OK. I remember a lot of, don't do any knee slides and lots of scrubbing when we made a mark but then after a few weeks or so we didn't bother and they didn't bother
