Hi, just a reminder that the charity we support at HB will be Macmillan Cancer Support. Good choice! The lovely Jo-G has suggested that we ask around shops/bakeries for donations (in addition to the amazing home baked goodies provided by the team). Any objections to this? It would probably mean displaying a shop's logo at the stall. Seems like it'd be worth a shot! Also, keep the suggestions for charities to support coming and we will do our best to work our way through the list! Team MoJo will be keeping our ears to the ground for charity events that ARRG may wish to take part in, if you come across any, post em in this section. That is all.

It was just an idea i came up with one night as HB is gonna be such a HUGE event and everyone already bakes there little socks off to keep punters happy as it is! Thought that as this will be so big and much longer hopefully people will be hungrier and rather than ask the lovelies of ARRG to fork out of their own pockets even more and spend double time baking some lovely bakeries might want to get in on it since its for charity And obviously we'd put a wee sign up for them or any small piece of personal advertising they want. It's all in the name of charity and the more money the better!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So this week I have had a very successful meeting with the head of fundraising at MacMillan and have lots of buckets, leaflets, balloons (in ARRG green!) a big banner and posters for advertising purposes! She will try to make it along but if not we have all we need! Also so far I have been offered homebaked, donated cake from Loopy Lornas cafe in Morningside towards the baking stall, they do AMAZING cakes and they also regularly support MacMillan so were happy to do it! I'll get oot asking more bakeries soon soon, posters and leaflets to show them would help, do we know when they'll be ready and out?

Posters and flyers are out and being distributed as we speak doll, yay! I was impressed by how well the Macmillan branding goes with our stuff also massive well done and thanks for the Loopy Lorna's, quite a coup (sp?)! Let's get together and do a bit of joint blagging some time over the next week. Hooray for free cake and charity, 2 of my favourite things!

How many cakes would you be looking for? I used to run a cupcake company ( www.eversosweet.co.uk) so am used to baking in huge quantities! I can make them roller derby themed too if that's any good? Let me know what I can do to help x
