http://www.theedinburghreporter.co.uk/2 ... ler-girls/Blazin’ Phoenix, another Auld Reekie player, had a stroke a few years ago and needed something that could get her fit again. She said: “I couldn’t face the gym. The main thing about skating is that it’s great fun.” I DIDNT SAY THAT!!!

Got to love reporters and their ability to misquote folks . That said I'll be sending this on to the people in my team at work who keep asking me to explain derby to them but don't quite understand.

Quote: But what’s more is they don’t actually know each other’s real names and address each other by their ‘skater names’ at all times. AHAHAHAHAHAH who *are* you people? I don't know *any* of your names. This article is not that great. I do some okay jamming in the video though

I was horribly miss-quoted by The Sun a few years back when we spotted their fake Madonna hanging about round Dornoch Cathedral in a limo just before the real Madges wedding... they asked me to comment on this awful blonde bimbos likeness and I didn't say anything like "She looks great! Just like the real thing"... I now have a huge distrust of newspaper reporters
