Hi everyone, We've had an interesting proposal from Fest mag, read below... Quote: Here's an idea for editorial, though. We're running a feature every issue during August - in conjunction with a website called festafriend.com - where we send two people on a blind date to see a show together. After the date we do a little Q and A with them - and the idea is that they kind of review the show and each other! The piece would then get written up with two photo-portraits of the people involved. I was thinking, if one of the girls was up for it, we could get a shot of her in her Roller Derby gear, and it could also act as a plug for your show. We haven't run it before but the layout and concept will be similar to the Guardian Weekend's Blind Date - http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/ ... blind-dateWe would push to have the "show" they reviewed be the Belles bout, so is there anyone who ISN'T skating/NSO'ing that fancies a moment of fame and a chance to plug ARRG (& er, also a blind date)? Go on!

Haha
What did you talk about? Roller derby, what was going on in the bout, roller derby. First impressions: a bit mental, she kept screaming. Any awkward moments: when she wouldn't stop screaming and clinging to me. etc etc
I do actually think this is an amazing idea... but I don't think I want to do it!
