Battle of Scotland Festival Fringe Double Header & After Party

Scotland’s top ranked woman’s flat track roller derby league are back at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and this time it’s a double header! Saturday 6^th August will see derby fans treated to not one but two hard-hitting, power playing games of high action roller derby from the awesomely mighty Auld Reekie Roller Girls who will take on Glasgow Roller Derby and Dundee Roller Derby - what’s not to love?!

Tickets are £8 (£6 concession, uner 14′s go free) and are available now via http://bit.ly/29atXcO! Please note; tickets will be available online until 12 noon on game day but will then be available on the door!

Battle lines will be drawn at Meadowbank Stadium as ARRG’s All Stars face Glasgow Roller Derby and All Star Rookies take on Dundee’s Bonnie Colliders. As ARRG prepare to take on opponents from some of Scotland’s best roller derby leagues, fans are certain of two fiercely fought, brilliant games of elite roller derby featuring female athletes at the very top of their game.

As well as top derby action, the event includes plenty of activities to keep the entire family entertained including; local craft stalls, top ARRG merchandise, half-time entertainment, a stocked bar, tasty cake stalls and a kid’s area with crafts and face painting.

As if the excitement of an epic Battle of Scotland Double Header as part of the Festival Fringe on the 6th August wasn’t enough, we also have an ARRGmazing afterparty lined up!! Don’t say we ain’t good to you pals.

Join us from 8pm at Sketchy Beats Café on Great Junction Street for what is shaping up to be an awesome night of live music, bevvies and pizza! We are super excited to have THREE bands from the Girls Rock School; The Fistymuffs, Lou McLean and Agony Ant - wow!

Not only that it’s also BYOB, there will be games AND pizza!! Come play with us pals, it’s going to be ace!

£5 cover charge. Bring yourselves and pals, beers (or juice), dancing shoes and some bucks to fire into some of our many fun and fabulous fundraising games we have planned!
