Guys, THIS IS TOMORROW!!
If you can, please remember to bring along a small flat-bottomed container - preferably a tupperware, so you can give things a good shake! Also, a solvent such as white spirit, acetone, meths, rubbing alcohol, citrus cleaner, etc. I have a bit of meths, but not a huge amount to share. Also, lubricant, such as Bones Speed Cream . I have some I can share, but if possible bring your own. Tweezers, needles, and chopsticks are handy too, but we'll bring along some to share.
And if you want to be extra extra prepared, you could take your bearings out of your wheels in advance so we can jump right in and not have to waste time removing our bearings! (This would be really useful, actually. But if you don't know how, don't worry, I'll show you tomorrow!. And don't forget your skate tool!
And Chiqui, it's up to you if you want to bring Baby Chiqui. The only thing I will caution is that we will be using solvents, which isn't particularly good for ADULTS, but might be considered more dangerous for small people. Also, you will need both hands free to clean your bearings. It might be best to wait for the next one, and hopefully we can schedule it for a time you can come yourself.
See you at 1:30 SHARP in the upstairs room at JK. (If you go up the stairs across from the doors of the halls we skate in, you'll pretty much be in the right place!)
x

Sunny and I will be bringing some to share if you don't have your own, so please still come.
I went to a shitty pound shop today and found the mother lode of white spirit, so I've got plenty to go around!

It was nice hanging out with you guys today, even if it was only for a bit of skate fiddling! I hope we didn't give anyone a headache with our stinky solvents.

I didn't think I was that stinky.... Haha, was it from the solvent or just your general derby lady stench? Anyways, for those of you who asked, this is the skate tool that I have with the bearing press: http://www.routeone.co.uk/Store/Skatebo ... rc=froogleIt's expensive, but it's really well made, and has pretty much all the bits to allow you to fiddle your skates to your heart's content.
