In case anyone didn't get the email:

SnT are pleased to announce that on Wednesday 21st of September, we will have an "Improvers bout". This is a chance for everyone who has passed minimum standards but not yet been assessed as bout ready to get a feel for a bout situation, and a chance for SnT to have a really good look at you all in action. Since we want to get as many people signed off as bout ready in time for the next round of home team selection at the end of September, we have decided to dedicate a whole practice to all of our awesome improving skaters!

So, just to clarify: if you have passed your minimums and wish to be considered as a competitive skater but have not been assessed as bout ready yet (including Friday skaters who have not been cleared for bout night), please come along to practice as usual on 21st Sept with a black and green t-shirt with your number on each. We will split you into teams as fairly as we possibly can (but don't be too worried about who wins this one!) SnT will be carefully watching every skater and scoring you on all the skills we need you to have before we can consider you for a home team. Please don't be too worried about this. You'll no doubt be concentrating on skating hard and having fun and not even notice us.

Bout ready skaters: this is a rare chance for you to practice all those things you don't get to do at bout night/bouts because you're skating! So we need you as NSOs, track laying team and bench coaches/line up managers please. The more, the merrier! I hope everyone comes along and gets involved for their own development, as well as to support the newer bouters - I'm sure I needn't bribe you with attendance points, but yes, they will be awarded for those who come and get *actively involved*.
