Hey, My Company run a “matched given†scheme. Where once a financial year they will match whatever each individual employee raises for a charity (up to £400). I haven’t read the ins and outs yet but I believe I just send a form that i fill the first section in away to the selected charity and they fill ithe rest in and send it back. It takes a couple of weeks to be processed (yeah admin here sucks) but goes pretty smoothly I think. I don’t really do much charity work except give a few quid once a month. So I would be happy to use it with ARRG and whatever we are doing. So we have instantly doubled whatever is raised. I’ll look into it today anyway as the Boss mans off for two days away on the piss. So as you can imagine I am working really hard

Spanner that sounds awesome! So is it an no-strings-attatched-any-charity-goes deal? And if they knew that it wasn't you individually raising the money but your team would that make a difference? Sounds very good though getting raised money doubled! I'll be putting up a poll very soon (like today if I can manage and discuss with my better-charity-half Mo) so should have a decision soon on the charity for SLAM

"You can support charities that are registered with the Charity Commission and community organisations that are recognised by the Inland Revenue as charitable. If you have any queries on eligibility, please contact the Employee Community Support Help Line on 01285 841912. Areas not covered within the Matched Giving scheme include: religious and political organisations, expeditions or overseas travel"
That's what it says..... also i spoke to one of the lads who does it for the boys football team he runs (it's a charity) Aslong as i say i was part of ARRG and the activity and the charity confirms it then there shouldn't be problem. i would pop a cover letter in with the form anyway.
I have had a scoot around the works intranet but theres not too much about it (saves them having to give too much probs) so think it's all to do with if its an acceptable charity and the form itself.

That sounds like a great potential plan! Like I said I will chat it over with the charity co-chair of loveliness and see what we can get organised!
Thanks Spanner
