Yes yet again new charity suggestions would be awesome! I want to put a vote up in the next few days so please let me know asap! Fay you wanted some kind of woman's aid charities on the list, so if you've got an specific suggestions let me know!

We have some left over from the last vote (although I can't remember most of them due to being a bit dim and forgetful) and if people want them resubmitted for vote then can they say so on here as well.

Yay

Cruz-Afix has already suggested Sands Lothian to me which sounds like a fantastic charity to consider supporting. They offer help and support to parents and families that have lost a baby.

I would also like to nominate Downs Syndrome Scotland as without such charities, people like Anarchicks family and baby Ruby wouldn't get the help and support that is now available. I'm also reading a really harrowing book just now about a young girl with downs syndrome.

yaaaay seconded. a very fitting local charity which supports young lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in edinburgh. a charity which is always having its funding cut by the local council!

One for the furry kind: Lothian cat rescue or GraceHounds.

All good charities! Jo - is it the memory keeper's daughter? That had me welling up!
My suggestions would be Zero Tolerance as they are Edinburgh based and always in need of help. Or even one of the other women's charities like EWRASAC or women's aid?

Aly - we've already donated to Zero Tolerance this year! They are a good charity!

Aly: Ye sit is The Memory Keepers Daughter! I was book hunting in Oxfam Books last week and was recommended it. It's so lovely but harrowing too and I'm not even half way through yet

Thanks for the awesome suggestion guys! I have taken 5 of them and am putting up a vote as we speak :)
