Im not an expert, but i would recommend using Dreamweaver.. its fairly simple and you can see what you are making, not just a bunch of code...

Baz! You should think about setting up a shop here: www.folksy.comIt'd get you started for the now. Also Microsoft office have an online service for getting a small business up and running here: http://smallbusiness.officelive.com/en-GB/I'm gonna look into this today so will post back if it's been helpful! Hope this helps DM x

Thanks folks, My niece recommended Dreamweaver too, but it seems you need to buy it and the ones I've seen ain't cheap, Regarding etsy, I thought that was for for diy made stuff?, I've tried starting an ecommerce shop, and even the most dummy freindly one has me flumoxed. Hopefully the stall will be at the next bout, I'll be reffing so will have to check how I can organise that

I don't know much about e-commerce but how about an e-bay shop? Nice and easy to get started anyway.
Andy.

I just found this: http://www.shopcreator.com/index.htmlIt charges 3% of your sales apparently which isn't too bad I thought. No setup fees etc.

Just a newbie to the forums, and I wont be fresh meating for months yet, but I can help out with webstore stuff - I've not specifically done any e-commerce, but from what I gather it's pretty straight-forward and websites are my thing. If you buy a wee bit of webspace and a domain name, there are all sorts of out-of-the-box open source store software ("Agora" springs to mind) that you can install on your little bit of webspace. Then all you have to do is set yourself up with a paypal account and people can pay for your goodies by credit card. Happy to meet up or have a chat over the phone and give some friendly pointers. Charlotte x
